Thank you for this review of Samson MXP124FX. Do you still use it? Could you compare sound quality and self noise (in podcasting) to Yamaha (or other) mixers about the same price? I could not find sample sounds mentioned in the review.

I have Olympus LS14 recorder only, have not started podcasting yet. Buying a Dynamic mic will probably force me to buy a mixer as well.
