One question though essentially since all of my stuff is controlled from my end meaning the gain my soundgate external hardware etc, on voicemeeter would I just essentially leave the excess stuff meaning the fader and everything like that has noise gain control etc to 0 so I don’t mess up how I sound etc?

I was curious if you know this technical problem I am having. My current setup: I have a Grace Design m101 external preamp my microphone is in that then I have a trs to trs cable going from the balanced output on there to a line level input on my UR 242 steinberg audio interface { Line level inputs on back of unit} It works when I record on Adobe Audition CS6 using the audio mapping on there i select input 3. but when I go on skype that is another story it only shows audio interface steinberg unit no selection for input 3? how can skype use my microphone then?

So us
