Words, terms, language being co-opted to mean whatever the writer wants them to mean, without any regard for the conventions of language. A script is something written down. A play is a piece of drama (or comedy) which is scripted. Sometimes they are performed as audio only. Scripted Fiction? What is this? Actual Play? I saw one in the theatre last week. Yes an Actual Play! With Actual Actors performing an Actual Scripted Fiction. Audio drama can be scripted, or it can be improvised. Why make up a new term for something so simple? When the performers/players make up the dialogue, events, plot twists as they go it’s called improvisation. If you are going to redefine words, please explain as you go. Ok, I give up.
