Readers might also want to investigate Goldwave.com for a professional level audio recording and editing software that a pure novice can use with only a little effort and then progress, with experience, up to the Pro level. That is assuming you can afford a $45 lifetime license or a $15 one year license. The instruction manual included is extensive. If you have ever wondered about bit rate or sampling rate, this gives an excellent explanation of PCM (pulse code modulation) and TDM (time division multiplexing). Also, they have a video recorder and editor with a lifetime license for $50. I have used Goldwave audio software for about 17 years and find it superior to the Adobe software I have (Soundbooth) or the free Audacity that I have. While those two are great, Goldwave is head and shoulders above them I feel. Goldwave does have a trial version you can try it out.

Here’s a good article about recording remotely. https://www.thepodcasthost.com/recording-skills/best-tools-for-recording-a-podcast-online/

Your best bet with video tracks might be a tool like Zoom.

Kind of like you have audio in multi track, also have two video feeds?
